INTERACTIONS, das sind12 fesselnde Kurzfilme aus den Genres Spielfilm, Dokumentar- und Experimentalfilm, die sich mit den tiefgreifenden Zusammenhängen zwischen Natur und Mensch auseinandersetzen. Aus diversen Perspektiven beleuchten sie Herausforderungen, zeigen Lösungen und machen Hoffnung. Durch die Mischung aus dokumentarischen und fiktiven Arbeiten bietet der Abend faktische und rationale, aber auch poetische und empathische Werke und unterstützt uns dabei, nachhaltige Beziehungen zu unseren Ökosystemen zu pflegen und unterstüzen.

INTERACTIONS presents a collection of 12 captivating short films from fiction, documentary, and experimental genres. Within this diverse selection, cinema engages in meaningful conversations with the Biodiversity, Environment, Climate Change, and the profound interconnections between nature and humanity. These narratives not only shed light on the challenges we face but also offer glimpses of hope and solution. Through a blend of real-life accounts and fictional characters, they emphasize the urgency for prompt and impactful measures, fostering empathy and solidarity, all while striving to cultivate sustainable relationships with our ecosystems.
The 12 original short narratives under the title INTERACTIONS have been released as World Premiere at the International Film Festival of Rome 2022. From the end of 2022, INTERACTIONS has been screened in various international film festivals, schools, universities, museums and cultural institutions around the world.

TEXT ON THE ORGANIZERS
ART for The World is an NGO associated with the UNDPI (United Nations Department of Public Information). It was founded in 1995 during the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations and is based in Geneva and Italy (Turin/Milan) with permanent collaborations in European countries (France, Greece, Italy, UK and Switzerland), as well in Brazil, Canada, India, Mexico, Morocco and USA. ART for The World merges ethics with aesthetics to build cross-cultural relationship and promote sustainability, culture and education with a large number of cultural projects inspired by the UDHR and the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals), such as contemporary itinerant art exhibitions FOOD (2014-2015) and AQUA (2017-2018) and the production of the film anthology Interdependence (2019). The NGO has started its film productions with the UNHCHR’s 60th Anniversary (2008), in producing a film anthology of twenty-one short narrative films: Stories on Human Rights, funded by the European Union with the support of the French Ministry of Culture and the French Ministry Foreign Affairs. Stories on Human Rights received the Council of Europe’s Label for the most Innovate Cultural project in 2008.
